A new teaser for the upcoming ‘Becoming Led Zeppelin’ documentary shows the band members looking back on their first-ever jam session. At Jimmy Page’s suggestion, the band started a jam on “Train Kept A-Rollin’,” which he had recorded with the Yardbirds in ’66.
“The room just exploded,” John Paul Jones recalls.
The foursome knew immediately that they were on the precipice of something special. Robert Plant called the experience “devastating because it seemed like that is what I had been waiting for.”
