Tyler Tolbert etched his name alongside some of baseball’s greatest hitters Tuesday night, matching a Major League record with hits in 12 consecutive plate appearances while powering the Kansas City Royals to a thrilling 16-12 comeback victory over the New York Mets at Citi Field.
