Kansas State football continues to build strong recruiting momentum under head coach Collin Klein, as the Wildcats added another key piece to their 2027 class with a commitment from a standout defensive back out of Georgia.
The latest addition comes in the form of London Goggans, a 6-foot, 180-pound safety from Loganville, Georgia, who officially announced his pledge to K-State after a recent campus visit. Goggans is regarded as a three-star prospect and chose the Wildcats over a competitive list of Power Five programs, including Arizona State, Arkansas, Florida State, Indiana, Maryland, Miami, Oklahoma State, and Purdue, among others.
His decision adds further strength to what has become a rapid recruiting surge for Kansas State in recent days. The Wildcats have now secured five commitments in just the past week alone, reflecting an aggressive and productive stretch on the recruiting trail under Klein’s leadership.
Goggans joins a growing list of recent additions that includes defensive back Logan Davis, offensive lineman Brayden Harris, interior lineman Kelvin Eiwo, and defensive back George Murray, all of whom have recently pledged to the program. This wave of commitments has helped Kansas State push its 2027 recruiting class to 15 total members.
Despite a recent loss of a recruit to Georgia Tech, the Wildcats continue to maintain steady momentum overall. The class currently sits at No. 31 nationally and No. 4 in the Big 12 according to 247Sports rankings, signaling that Klein’s early recruiting efforts are gaining traction.
As the cycle continues, Kansas State’s staff appears to be prioritizing defensive speed and versatility, especially in the secondary, while also strengthening the offensive and defensive lines. With recruiting activity showing no signs of slowing down, the Wildcats are positioning themselves as one of the more active programs in the conference for the 2027 cycle.
