Kentucky football continues to stay active on the recruiting trail as the program hosts its final weekend of official visits, with in-state wide receiver Tyler Fryman emerging as the standout name among a strong group of campus visitors.
Fryman, a Fort Mitchell (Ky.) Beechwood standout, remains one of Kentucky’s top priorities in the 2027 recruiting cycle. The Wildcats are widely considered strong contenders in his recruitment as they look to secure a major in-state victory over competing programs.
Rated as a four-star prospect, Fryman is currently ranked among the top wide receivers in the 2027 class and sits inside the national top 250 overall recruits according to 247Sports. His stock has risen significantly following a dominant junior season in which he posted 45 receptions for 1,023 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns, while also contributing 277 rushing yards and three additional scores on the ground—showcasing his versatility as a dynamic offensive weapon.
Beyond football, Fryman recently concluded his high school baseball season, giving him the opportunity to fully shift his attention toward college football recruiting as his decision approaches.
Kentucky’s coaching staff, led by head coach Will Stein, is already building momentum in the 2027 class, with multiple wide receiver commitments secured and additional high-profile prospects still in play. Adding Fryman would further strengthen the Wildcats’ in-state recruiting footprint and provide another explosive option for the future offense.
This weekend also features a large number of current Kentucky commits on campus, highlighting the program’s continued push to build one of its strongest recruiting classes in recent years.
As the Wildcats look to close the weekend on a high note, Fryman’s visit stands out as one of the most important storylines in Lexington’s recruiting efforts.
