The Philadelphia Phillies will have one more representative at the 2026 MLB All-Star Game, but the latest addition to the National League roster isn’t the pitcher many fans expected.
While many believed veteran ace Zack Wheeler was the biggest omission when the initial All-Star selections were announced, Major League Baseball instead awarded the Phillies an additional All-Star by naming left-hander Jesús Luzardo as a replacement pitcher for the Midsummer Classic, which will be played at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
