The Southeastern Conference has officially announced the men’s basketball home-and-away matchups for the 2026-27 season, giving Arkansas a clearer picture of its path through one of the nation’s toughest leagues. The Razorbacks will once again play an 18-game conference schedule, featuring nine contests at home and nine on the road.

As part of the SEC’s scheduling format, Arkansas will face longtime rivals LSU and Missouri twice during the regular season. The Razorbacks will also play Alabama in a home-and-home series, marking the third consecutive season in which the conference has assigned a rotating third opponent for a pair of matchups.
Bud Walton Arena will host nine SEC opponents, including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Arkansas will look to capitalize on its home-court advantage after posting an impressive 8-1 record in conference home games last season.
On the road, the Razorbacks will travel to face Alabama, Kentucky, LSU, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt. Those trips include several challenging environments, particularly visits to Kentucky and Tennessee, two of the SEC’s perennial basketball powers.
Conference play is scheduled to begin on January 2 and conclude on March 6, setting the stage for another highly competitive SEC race. Following the regular season, the SEC Tournament will return to Nashville, Tennessee, with Bridgestone Arena hosting the event from March 10-14, 2027.
Arkansas’ annual rivalry series with LSU remains one of the most consistent matchups in the conference. Since joining the SEC in 1991-92, the Razorbacks and Tigers have played home-and-home series in nearly every season. LSU has also been Arkansas’ most frequent SEC opponent during that span, with the programs meeting 74 times.
The Razorbacks will also continue their annual two-game series with Missouri for the 15th straight year, a streak that dates back to the Tigers’ arrival in the SEC in 2012. Arkansas has enjoyed considerable success in the rivalry, winning 10 of the last 12 meetings and holding a strong advantage since Missouri joined the conference.
Meanwhile, Arkansas and Alabama will renew a growing rivalry with two regular-season meetings. The Crimson Tide swept the last home-and-home series between the programs during the 2022-23 season and have won six consecutive games against the Razorbacks, adding extra intrigue to next year’s matchups.
Historically, Arkansas has performed well against the teams scheduled to visit Fayetteville. The Razorbacks own a combined winning percentage above .700 against their 2026-27 home conference opponents, suggesting another favorable home slate as they look to contend in the SEC standings.
With a balanced mix of marquee home games, challenging road tests, and rivalry matchups, the 2026-27 conference schedule provides Arkansas with another opportunity to establish itself among the SEC’s elite programs.
